Marshall Pembleton
Thank you and You Will Be Missed

It is with much sadness that I share this news. Marshall Pembleton, the Vice-President of the Jacksonville Jaguars Booster Club, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010.  Marshall fought challenges with diabetes, heart disease and kidney disease.  In spite of these many health challenges, you could count on Marshall to help you if he could.

Marshall led the club efforts of directing the display of the American flag on game day at the Jaguars’ home games.   He even orchestrated that portion of the program when other organizations carried the flag. Volunteer recruitment, training and on field display with JJBC members, season ticket holders and military personnel was under the direction of him and his wife, Sarah.

Marshall was an asset to the club in many ways. He has served as a board member, president and lastly as vice-president.  He and Sarah assisted with silent auctions for the annual meetings and holiday party. He could also be found tending the fire if we were grilling.  If an event involved a costume, he could be counted on to deliver in prize winning manner.

His service will be held at First Christian Church, 11924 San Jose Blvd (Mandarin), Jacksonville, FL.  The service is at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested a donation be made in memory of Marshall to the American Diabetes Association at https://donations.diabetes.org. His obituary is available at Jacksonville.Com
