Make plans to join the Jacksonville Jaguars Booster Club as they travel to Pittsburgh
to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on October 16, 2011!
Can you believe that football season is finally here? It’s time to start planning the 2011 Away Game Trip! Our members have spoken and we listened... this year’s trip will be to Pittsburgh to see the Jaguars pounce on the Steelers on October 16.
Step #1: Reserve your game ticket. Call the club office (904-721-5530) and reserve your ticket. Tickets are $73. You will need to send in a deposit of $25 per ticket with the balance due no later than September 30, 2011. This can be done via PayPal or sending a check to the office. You must be a club member to purchase tickets and we have a limited number of tickets, so don’t delay.
Step #2: The club has a block of rooms at Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport for $109 per night plus tax (triple occupancy is $159 and quadruple occupancy is $184). You can use this link to book online with our group rate.
The opportunity to use this room block will expire September 30, 2011.
For those of you that don’t wish to rent a car, the hotel is connected to the airport by a moving walkway. This hotel does have an onsite restaurant, but they also have a complimentary shuttle which will take us anywhere within 6 miles, and there are more than 100 restaurants and several malls within that 6 mile radius.
Step #3: You are on your own as far as transportation, everyone has different needs as far as travel dates and airline preferences. Trip prices start at $259 (Delta) and $264 (SouthWest).
Once we have an idea as to the number of club members attending we will arrange a group dinner. We also will arrange transportation to the game, once we know how many people are going we will be able to determine the price for this.
